Protection of this precious earth is the essence of what Nomadic Man represents.
Each shirt is hand screen printed in the Pink city, Rajasthan. 100% soft khadi cotton each print tells a story and represents various indigenous groups we have encountered and been fortunate to spend time with on our nomadic adventures.
Explore but protect.
10% of each sale goes to the foundation Instituto Cultural Nixiwaka : Cheif Nixiwaka hails from the Yawanawá tribe ( The People of the Wild Boar ) in Brazil’s Acre state. We, the Yawanawá, have lived on our land for centuries and our way of life developed from our ancestors. We live close to nature. “The forest is a magical place. But when we see harm come to the rainforest, it is as if a part of our own body has been hurt. It feels like an illness that rises up in us and needs to be cured,” said Nixiwaka.
Nixiwaka is one of many indigenous representatives that have stepped up their fight for indigenous rights around the world.
Indigenous peoples in Brazil and Peru face illegal logging, deforestation, oil, roads, and various extraction projects. We hope that a little from each sale can give back to the forest people and help them to form this new grassroots organisation.
