The Threads That Bind Us: The Saheli Ikat Wrap Skirts

Our latest collection of high-waisted Ikat Maxi Wrap Skirts is crafted in collaboration with the incredible Saheli Women collective. These skirts are a bridge between the dusty, vibrant plains of Rajasthan and the wild landscapes we love to wander.

The Power of the Loom

To understand these skirts is to understand the alchemy of Ikat. Unlike printed fabrics, the patterns on these garments are created through a meticulous, ancient process of resist-dyeing the threads before they ever touch the loom. The artisans calculate exactly where the colour must fall, tying off sections of yarn with mathematical precision.

When the dyed threads are finally hand-loomed by the Saheli women, the geometric diamonds and organic motifs slowly reveal themselves. Because every single piece is made by hand, no two are identical. The subtle, beautiful shifts in the weave aren’t flaws—they are the human fingerprint of the woman who made it. They belong entirely to your skirt.

But the true beauty of this collection lies in its impact. The Saheli Women collective isn’t just a workshop; it is a sanctuary for social liberation and economic growth in rural India. By bringing one of these skirts into your wardrobe, you are directly investing in a positive, sustainable livelihood for these female artisans, allowing them to claim financial independence, support their families, and keep their heritage crafts alive.

Captured in the Elements

The Earth & Sun

For those drawn to quieter, organic tones, the terracotta and sun-bleached cream colourway feels like an extension of the earth itself. The diamond ikat motifs offer a timeless, nomadic elegance that feels deeply connected to ancient textile traditions.

The Ocean & Sky

There is a striking, grounded confidence to our blue geometric pattern. Designed with an intentional, high-waisted wrap structure, it holds its form beautifully at the waist before breaking into fluid, sweeping motion.

The Blossom & Berry

Soft, romantic, and imbued with a vintage-inspired spirit, the rose and deep berry palette brings a softer energy to the collection. These skirts are meant for free-spirited grace.

The beauty of a true wrap skirt is its versatility. We designed these with a fully adjustable fit that honours the natural contours of your body, sitting high on the waist to create a long, elegant silhouette.

For hot, sun-drenched afternoons, keep it effortless: wear it barefoot with a simple white linen blouse or a vintage camisole. As the sun dips and the evening breeze rolls in, wrap yourself in one of our hand-woven cashmere shawls, throw on a favourite pair of well-worn boots, and let the maxi length sweep the ground.

These are garments meant to be lived in, travelled in, and cherished for a lifetime. They carry a story of empowerment, tradition, and conscious creation, of the hands that held the thread, the rhythm of the loom, and the ancient stories woven into their very fabric.
